L.O.V.E. this book trailer for Cassandra Clare's upcoming release. It is cheesy and croppy and all sorts of awkward things, but the best part is the last line. Oh yes, "holy water and blood!!" I am sooo looking forward to these books.

Between work and my personal internet life, I publish and manage a total of five blogs - none of them nearly as faithfully as I should. So I'm not sure if it's natural or awkward that I'm guest blogging this coming week. Those of you who already have whiplash trying to follow all my online scribbles, I greatly apologize. I know that the last thing you all need is another blog to read, but I thought I'd let you dear readers know that I have started a second blog. You balk, I know, considering how I have no time for this one. This second blog is more professionally oriented. As in, that's where I'll post anything and everything to do with the world of books. Anyway, this second blog may get moved if I ever set up a more professional website sort of thing. The point is to get it started. I will happily feature guest bloggers if you ever feel like posting something literary and edgy. You are also under no obligation to check the thing with any kind of frequency. What could possibly be the most offensive book-to-screen effort of all time? That's right, turning The Little Prince into a 50+ episode animated series, video game, and 3D film. I am hoping this is some kind of hoax . And beginning to wonder if maybe I do wish I lived in the days before penicillin after all.

The sad thing is this spoof has better special effects than the original movie.

Apparently the next big thing in the digital book world is this thing called Copia. You can check out the website here , but I'd advise you to skip the promotional video. It doesn't actually tell you what Copia does, how it works, what it looks like, or how it could be tailored to your unique reading habits. It tells you 'we're in it together,' and features a lot of smiling people. My favorite is the blonde girl reading Vonnegut and laughing like the book is a shopping mall buddy. Maybe Vonnegut's funny, but he's just not that kind of funny. For all I know, Copia could be the next best thing. You just really can't tell from the video.
